Poneet Gupta & Co.  is a privacy conscious organisation and is strongly committed to your right to privacy. Our privacy policy is aimed at following the guidelines set by the Online Privacy Alliance and is intended to be in accordance with international data protection legislation.


Need for Information

We require and receives very little identifying information from visitors to our website and only for a limited purposes.

Typically, identifying information is collected:

  • as registration data for certain areas of the site
  • to allow us to respond to visitors' inquiries for further information
  • when submitting resumes.

The visitors to the website may be required to register in order to obtain a user-id and password for authentication and secure access to a transaction or certain business confidential or proprietary information services. Because we use the Website as a recruiting tool, a visit to the Website may also result in the user sending a resume to an individual within the firm.

Other demographic information, such as gender and occupation,  may also be submitted when a visitor responds to an online job application.

We recommend  that no sensitive information of this nature be provided unless specifically asked for at the site. Alteration / Deletion to Information

It is our policy to provide reasonable and practical access to visitors to allow them the opportunity to identify and correct any inaccuracies in the information submitted by them except such information that entitled them to be come members like name, date of birth etc.

Information provided while submitting data in forms like online job applications are consumed on submission and are therefore not available for editing or deletion.

We are committed to. We are committed to carrying out such corrections, deletions, additions to personal data as is practically possible upon receiving such authenticated instructions by the person to whom the information pertains.

Consequence of Submission

By submitting identifying data, a visitor to our Website is agreeing to our  use of such data as described in this privacy statement. and is providing explicit consent to transborder transmission of data collected on the website for the fulfillment of their voluntary requests. The data submitted belongs to the firm who shall have exclusive right of use and their decision shall be final.

Information attained by the site is used only for the intended purpose stated at the time that the information is collected. This data is not shared with other entities in the Firm for secondary or unrelated purposes, or shared with a third party, unless otherwise disclosed at the point of collection.
